Janet’s Journeys is throwing a second unforgettable trip to the wonderfully diverse nation of SOUTH AFRICA!
We will spend 8 days exploring one of my favourite parts of the world, one of the most culturally and geographically diverse places on earth, known by locals as the ‘Rainbow Nation’.
This trip is focused on pure adventure, adrenaline and thrill-seeking! You won’t spend a second being bored as we have an exciting jam-packed schedule of fun and unique activities planned out!
This epic adventure will showcase all of South Africa’s highlights, traveling in an overland vehicle, and stopping at all of the hotspots!

Accommodation
Throughout our stay in South Africa, we will stay in a mixture of 3* hotels and hostels.
All rooms on all trips are shared, with 2 people in each room. We will partner you with an adventure buddy – an amazing way to make new friends! You’ll be moved around to pair up with a new friend every couple of nights.
All rooms will be twin sharing, private rooms.
Itinerary
Day 1-4: Cape Town
The bustling city of Cape Town will wow you with its incredible powdery white beaches, highly acclaimed wine routes, and beautiful mountain trails surrounding a cosmopolitan hub.
During our 4 days in Cape Town, we will visit Table Mountain’s jaw-dropping views; Boulders Beach, where penguins might swim right up to you; the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, where you can walk along a treetop canopy among the beautiful flowers, and Robben Island, where visitors can see the cell where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years!
Not to mention a full day Winelands Tour and full day touring the Cape of Good Hope.
Day 5 & 6: Storms River
Day 5 + 6 will be spent on Storms River, a scenic adventure sports enthusiast’s paradise.
We will visit Tsitsikamma National Park, a jungle with bustling wildlife, rivers, and where sea – adrenaline-junkies can enjoy canopying, ziplining, tubing, kayaking, snorkelling, segway riding, cycling, and hiking.
Here is where we will go to Bloukrans River Bridge, the highest in Africa, where all of the thrill seekers of the group can do some bungee jumping! A once in a lifetime opportunity! The bunjee jump is optional and costs around 50 euro if you want to do it!
Day 7: Jeffrey's Bay
We will continue travelling in our overland vehicle to Jeffrey’s Bay, home to some of the best surfing in South Africa, and at Supertubes you will find some of the best waves in the world.
While Jeffrey’s Bay is renowned for its excellent surf it is also popular for its aloe studded landscape, sun-drenched beaches, dolphin spotting, and shell collecting. We can look forward to a number of activities including surfing, relaxing on pristine beaches, and sampling delicious fresh seafood.
Day 8: Port Elizabeth
Today we set off to Algoa Bay in South Africa’s Eastern Cape Province, Port Elizabeth; known as ‘Friendly City’. Here we can explore the game reserves and pristine beaches. We have an exciting day planned at Addo Elephant National Park, home to hundreds of elephants and other wildlife.
Day 9: Fly home
Today we will say goodbye to South Africa and set on our onward travels!

Terms and Conditions
Your deposit is non refundable.
For the balance of your payment, I can refund you the full amount (minus your deposit) up to 8 weeks before the trip begins should you have an emergency / illness / need to cancel.
Anything closer than 8 weeks, I cannot refund you. I suggest you take out travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, that way should something happen like you get Covid, you will get a full payout from your insurance company.
