Itinerary

OPTIONAL: Day 1 - Cape Town, South Africa

Welcome to Cape Town! This diverse metropolis is filled with epic sites and landscapes, and is the perfect first stop for our South Africa adventure!

Your transfer will meet you at the airport and bring you to the hotel.

We will chill out at the hotel, and once everyone arrives we will go to a local restaurant for sunset drinks and dinner.

Meals: Group dinner included

OPTIONAL: Day 2 - Cape Town

Our first full day in Cape Town involves a trip to Table Mountain & Robben Island!

First up, is Robben Island, a hotspot that holds a significant place in history spanning 400 years. Dubbed “The Island of Exiles,” it has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. You might also spot some wildlife, like wandering Penguins!

Afterwards, we head to Table Mountain. We will get to see the epic panoramic views from the top of the mountain on the cableway carrying us to the summit.

Once at the top, we can explore the hiking trails that show off Table Mountain National Park’s landscapes.

We’ll finish the day watching the sunset in Camps Bay and having dinner next to the beach.

OPTIONAL: Day 3 - Cape Town

This morning we wake up and head out for an exciting day hitting Cape Point & Boulder’s Beach!

Heading 60kms outside of Cape Town, Cape Point is a spectacular sight with breathtaking bays, beaches, rolling green hills and valleys and is an absolute must-see!

After lunch, we’ll make our way to Boulder’s Beach, home to one of the largest breeding colonies of African penguins! Enjoy the beautiful views, and get up close and personal with the penguins!

In the late afternoon we’ll stop off at one of Cape Town’s famous wineries for some wine tatsing before sunset – the perefct end to our short South Africa adventure!

Tomorrow it’s on to our next country!

Day 4 - Maun, Botswana

After a group airport pick-up, we arrive in Maun and settle in and explore the town’s attractions.

This is mainly a travel day so you have some free time to relax by the hotel pool or enjoy what the town has to offer.

Maun is the starting point for most expeditions into the Okavango Delta and has developed into what is considered Botswana’s tourism capital. Area attractions include a renowned riverboat that offers cruises up and down the Thamalakane River.

You may also choose to visit the Nhabe Museum exhibiting the local history, art and culture of the Ngamiland region.

Meals: Breakfast

Day 5 - Khwai / Okavango Delta

The Khwai area of the Okavango Delta (in Botswana) lies along the northern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve.

The Khwai area offers a similar wildlife experience as the Moremi Game Reserve with the added advantage of being a private concession, which means we can do walking safaris and night drives!
We won’t miss the opportunity to soak up beautiful views of the scenic landscape and spot an array of wildlife!

Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

Day 6 - Khwai / Okavango Delta

Today, we have an exciting day ahead.

Head out in the morning drive around the game reserve to see some wild animals!

We have an afternoon Mokoro excursion, which is a popular way to explore the Okavango by boat while on safari.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 7 - Nata

After breakfast, we head from Maun to Nata. Along the way, we’ll check out the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, known for their unique landscapes – white sand, tall termite mounds, and Mokolwane palm trees. Nata is a birdwatcher’s dream with the Nata Sanctuary hosting flamingos and pelicans.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 8 - Kasane

Today, we head to Kasane!

Tucked away in the northeastern corner of Botswana, on the banks of the famous Chobe River, the scenic little town of Kasane rests on the doorstep of the spectacular Chobe National Park.

There are no boundary fences separating the village from the park, so animals such as elephants and hippos are often spotted roaming around the town – how exciting!

We have a boat cruise planned for sunset.  The Chobe Boat Cruise is a wonderful way to experience the Chobe National Park, where we have the opportunity to see animals like elephants, antelopes, hippos, crocodiles and more, in their natural habitat!

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 9 - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Today is mostly a travel day as we make our way from Botswana across the border to Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. We’ll check into our beautiful hotel in the afternoon and have time to chill after a long day on the road.

The small town of Victoria Falls lies adjacent to the waterfalls, serves as a great base to explore the many attractions, and has a wide range of adrenaline-filled activities for all you adventure lovers!

Tomorrow is another jam packed day full of adventure so get yourself a good nights sleep.

Meals: Breakfast
(For lunch and dinner there’s lots of option available in Vic Falls town)
