I’m ready! How do I book?
Simply click the “BOOK NOW” button to reserve your spot. You’ll be directed to a secure payment portal where you can pay a €500 deposit to lock in your booking. The remaining balance will be divided into two equal payments, due 2 and 3 months before departure. If needed, we’re happy to work with you to set up a custom payment plan, so feel free to reach out. Trips are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Why are deposits non-refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable due to several important reasons. Once you book, we begin planning and organizing your trip, involving dedicated staff who handle each detail. Many of these arrangements incur upfront costs as soon as your booking is confirmed. The non-refundable deposit also helps ensure all participants are fully committed. We recommend that all travellers have trip insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that may affect participation.
How much money will I need for non-included meals, alcohol, and souvenirs?
Most meals are included in the itinerary, but you may want to buy snacks, which are generally affordable. Dinners not included range from €5-20 depending on your order, and cocktails are typically €5-10 and easily accessible. Did someone say Pisco Sour? Souvenir budgets vary widely based on personal preferences, so plan accordingly.
Where does the trip start and end?
This journey starts and ends in Lima, Peru’s vibrant capital city, making planning your international flights in and out of one location easy.
How physically demanding is the trip?
This trip includes moderate walking and some challenging hikes, such as Rainbow Mountain, which can be a tough climb due to the high altitude. If needed, you can hire a donkey with a sherpa to help guide you to the top and fully enjoy the incredible views for around €10-15. Throughout the journey, there is quite a bit of walking, and the altitude may be tricky at times. A moderate level of fitness will allow you to fully experience and enjoy all the planned activities.
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Yes, we can accommodate most dietary restrictions, though Peruvian cuisine is often based on fresh ingredients, including seafood, vegetables, and local grains. Please inform us of any specific dietary needs in advance so we can make necessary arrangements.
What are the health and vaccination requirements?
No specific vaccinations are required for travel to Peru, but it’s recommended to be up-to-date with routine vaccinations. Consider vaccines for hepatitis A and B and typhoid, as these may be recommended for travel in certain areas. We suggest consulting your healthcare provider for personalized advice.
