Why Are Deposits Non-Refundable?
The deposit for your trip is non-refundable for several important reasons. Once you book, we will start planning and preparing for your journey. This involves engaging staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every detail is perfect. These preparations incur upfront costs from the moment your booking is confirmed. Additionally, the non-refundable deposit ensures that all participants are committed to the trip. We understand that plans can change, so we strongly recommend all travellers have trip insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that might affect their ability to participate.
How much money will I need for non-included meals, alcohol, and souvenirs?
All breakfasts, dinners and most lunches are included in the itinerary, but they do not include drinks but you can expect to spend €2-3 for soft drinks or juice. Since Jordan is a predominantly Muslim country, alcohol can be pricey and isn’t always readily available. Expect to pay €10-15 for cocktails and wine, and €4-6 for beer.
Jordan’s markets are brimming with unique treasures, from handcrafted ceramics and intricate mosaics to vibrant textiles and spices. Whether you’re a savvy bargain hunter or love to splurge on special finds, there’s something for every kind of traveler. Many vendors accept cards, making it easy to shop at your own pace and budget.
How Physically Demanding is the Trip?
This trip involves lots of walking around historical sites so comfy shoes are manadatory. The Jordanian heat can be challenging for some, though it’s generally more manageable in late October. If you’re sensitive to heat, staying hydrated and wearing light clothing will make all the difference.
Can Dietary Restrictions Be Accommodated?
Absolutely! Jordan’s cuisine offers something for everyone, and dietary needs are easily accommodated. Falafel is a favourite snack and a must-try while you’re here!
Let us know your dietary requirements ahead of time, and we’ll ensure your meals are tailored to your needs.
What Are the Health and Vaccination Requirements?
None are required but feel free to consult with your GP or a travel doctor if you want.
Some travellers like to pack anti-diarrhea medication as a precaution, especially if trying unfamiliar foods. Staying hydrated and practicing good hygiene, such as using hand sanitizer and drinking bottled water, will help you stay comfortable and healthy throughout the trip.
